Manar Zaghlula, Ph.D.

Manar is the Health Policy Manager at the Innovative Genomics Institute (IGI) where he works with key stakeholders and experts to develop novel solutions to affordability and access challenges of genetic therapies. Prior to joining the IGI, Manar was a CCST Science and Technology Policy Fellow in the California State Legislature. Manar received his Ph.D. in Translational Biology and Molecular Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine, where he investigated novel therapeutic entry points for a rare neurogenetic disorder, and his B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from the George Washington University.
